How do you convert a home office into a modern teen’s dream bedroom? The answer is listen closely to their needs, and with close collaboration create something you can both be proud of. This new space is fresh and totally teen-worthy.
How we achieved this look:
Feel
Get all the feels with colour and texture. The space needed to be both fresh and warm and this is where the use of timber, leather, pin board and linen all played a part. The cool greys and hints of black ensured the modern vibe. That special feeling is just that, special.
2. Function
Zone the space to make it work hard. It was important to include an area for his beloved drums, along with a light-filled study area, storage and sleeping…all while keeping the door way clear for use. Function is always king.
3. Fun
Include all the personal touches! Here we referenced his love for music sport and drawing, topped off with framing some of his own artwork above the bed. Elements that resonate add to the fun factor.
